Present indications are for unsettled and . showery conditions generally, and further heavy rain is likely in the East Coast districts of the North Island. Expect high south-east winds northwards of Farewell Spit and Kaikoura, and moderate to Btrong easterly to northerly winds elsewhere. Barometer unsteady. The storm area has persisted in tho north, and high and squally south-east winds have prevailed. over tho North Island, and north-eaßt breezes in tho south.
