Mr. Jeffries, the Rome correspondent of the "Daily Mail," reports that snow, rain, and fogs have reduced the fighting on the Italian fronts.—Aus.-N.Z. .Cable Assn.
AUSTRIAN SHOOTING PRISONERS
(Rec. March 6, 1.25 a.m.) Rome, MarcTi 5. According to the Volta Agency, the Austrians court-martialled and shot a hundred prisoners. Groups are now shot daily in the Lavine Valley.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
