CAMP NOTES
The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Trentham:—D Company, 35th Reinforcements: L.-Cpl. A. Paulson and Pte. W. R. G. Thomson to be corporal; Ptcs. W. E. Clover and B. Sutherland to be lance-corporals.
The following temporary appointments have heen approved by the Camp Commandant at Featherston:—Spr. H. S. Mexted, 36th Div. Sigs., to ho corporal; S.Q.M.S. F. Kendall, Headquarters Q.H. Stores, to be _ regimental quartermaster-sergeant, whilst employed on Rationing and. Messing Staff; Sgt. W. Hurst-Davies. Headquarters Q.M. Stores, to he staff-sergeant; Cpl. T. H, Welch, Headquarters Q.M. Stores, to be sergeant cook; Ptes. R. Gore, R. Yarrow, and W. Rune, Headquarters O.M. Stores, to be corporals; Ptes. J. E. Henderson and A. Reade, Headquarters Q.M. Stores, to ho Jancecorporals; Ptes. C. J. Norrics and F. H. Knight, Hoadquarters.Q.M. Stores, to be corporals; Cpl.. H.'Carter, P.E.A.S.C. to bo sergeant. The following men of the 44th M.R., n.c.o. class, have been promoted to tho rank of temporary corporal:—Ptes.. F. J. M'Kay, J. A. Home, T. Levien, 11. S. Cross, S. Harper, C. H. Crawford, R. B. Muller, W. C. C. Moncur, J. H. Williamson, H, F. Ford, F. S. Matson, R. K. Murphy, C. H. Parsons , T). N. Campion, K D; Wilkinson, S. W. Raleigh.
