FIRE AT WANGANUI
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, March 3. A 'fire, which broke out at five o'clock this morning, gutted the offices of Mr. J. Annabell, surveyor, destroying a v thirty years' supply of plans and records-. Water flooded the offices of Mr. William Hall accountant and secretary of the Jockey Club, considerably damaging the books and stationery. Water also damaged the stock of paper in Messrs. Cobb and Irwin's, printers, next door. Mr.- Annabell was uninsured. Mr. Hall had £100 in the New Zealand Office. The other insurances are unobtainable.
