Messrs; Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual monthly sale in the Waikauae yards on Thursday, Pebru-' ■ ary. 28, when tl\ey oHered a very heavy yarding of sheep and a medium one of cattle to a good attendance of buyers.. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report, as follows:—Our annual sheep fair was .held on February 26, at which there was a'lurge and-represeutative attendance, including several buyers from other districts. Wo had a good intry—rather more, than advertised numbers coming forward —some 4396 being penned, of which 4177 were sold. Practically all the sheep wern of medium quality, no *ery good lines coming forward. There was a keen demand for all classes,' and competition throughout was animated, a good sale resulting, prices being flecfncdly in favour of the vendors.
