These -have been chilly days in Wellin»ton since tjie hot nor'-wester gave p'ace to tho southerly. Yesterday was squally, misty, driving ram alternating with blinks of sunshine. Present indications are for strong southeasterly winds north of farewell bp.it and Kaikoura, and moderate southerlies elsewhere, with. changeable and showery weather on the northern Hast Coast districts of the North Island; fair to cloudy elsewhere
