BOY KILLED BY A MOTOR-CYCLE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Hastings, February 28. The six-year-old son of Pao Otene was killed instantly at Karamu bridge, being struck by a motor-cyclist and knocked into the creek below : Deceased and a brother were playing on the bridge. The cyclist was stunnd.

DIED WHILE SLEEPING,

Feilding, February 28. Henry Tonks, a commercial traveller, was found dead in bed this morning. Ho evidently died in his sleep from heart failure. Deceased was a widower, and leaves two children. He resided in Wanganui.

RETURNED SOLDIER FOUND DEAD.

Wanganui, February 28. •V returned soldier, Private Frank Samuel Marshall, was found hanging by the neck, dead, in the Union Boatshed this morning. Deceased is believed to have enlisted at Dunedm and served on Gallipoli.

Duncan Cameron, residing at 19 Hutt Road, Petone, and working at .the cooperage, Petone, had two fingers taken off his left hand yesterday by a circular saw. He was admitted to the Hospital.
