ELECTION NOTICES. .' . ■ ' 1 .8' T ADIES AND GENTLEMEN,- ( •*-' TO-DAY your vote will decide whether the Constituency of , Wellington North will be represented in Parliament by Mr. Luke's whole-hearted support of the National Government, or by the forces which are behind Mr. Holland in this election. ME. LUKE, who hae fought a good, clean fight, has had to contend with misrepresentation not only of himself, but of the National Government. This misrepresentation has been exposed. The Eleotore lave not been deceived by the artifice and intrigue which have been employed against him, and to-day will vote with a clear understanding of the high ideals and loyal cauee he stands for ae a supporter of the National Government. They will know how to mark their disapproval of the at- ( tempts that have been made by interested parties to split the ' vote for the National Government, to create in the minds of the "' electors an atmosphere of doubt and Buepicion, to complicate D what otherwise would have been a straight-out, issue between tho Win-the-War Party and the forces behind Mr. Holland. To accomplish their ends Mr. Luko's opponents have deliber- jj ately exposed the Constituency of Wellington North to the risk of being repreeonted in Parliament by interests which, if allowed ' ' ' to prevail, would seriously prejudico their country in tho great.
