The continued absonco from his home of Mr. A. J. Thompson, lato clerk of the Court at Queenstown, is causing I threat anxiety to his friends (says Monj (lay's "Otago Daily Times"). Some months ago Mr. Thompson suffered a serious norvoua breakdown, and for some time he has been subject to fits of deep depression, losing for the time iill sense of locality.
