THIRTY-FIFTH REVIEWED BY / GOVERiNOR-GENERAL.
The Thirty-fifth Reinforcements, under Lieutenant Heather, 0.0. B Company, wero reviewed and inspected nt Trentham Camp yesterday by His Excellency the Governor-General. During his inspection of the troops the Governor was accompanied by tha Camp Commandant, Colonel H. R. Potter , Sir James Allen, Major General Sir A. W. Robin, Colonel' C. M. Gibbon, Colonel C. R. Macdonald, Lieutenant-Colonel Neare, and Major D.'Sweetzer, airl Captain A. A. Luckliani, Camp Adjutant. The parade was one of the finest that has been seen at Trentham, the men's ceremonial drill being perfect, ra the march past especially. At the conclusion of the inspection the Trentham Camp Band, which had been playing soft music, struck up a marching etroin and led the troops towards the saluting base. The Engineers came first and then the Infantry. From a column of route formation, they changed to column of platoons. Platoon, after platoon gave the salute to His Excellency, and swung past in tine style, the whole making a stirring sight. Bofore leaving the parade ground each platoon re-formed into column of route, and, with the band in rear, marched away to camp. Judged by their appearance yesterday, the officers and men of the Thirty-fifths are equal to the best drafts that have been trained in the New Zealand camps. ___
