There was an excellent attendance f.fc the Sailors' Friend Society on Tuesday night, when the programme, which k;\k a fine one, was submitted by Miss E. Still. Mr. Moore, Missioner, occupied the chair. Vocal and elocutionary items were contributed by the following: The Misses Harden, R. Bitossi, King, Willcocks, and Pope, and Messrs. D Scott,. and Whitty. Tlie Misses Harden and Kerr were at the piano. The audience joined lionrt;l.V in the competitions and tho singing of tho popular choruses. _ The Temperance address by the Missionor was , , followed by pledges.
