TURPITUDE UNMASKED. (Rec. February 26, 5.5 p.m.) Washington, February 25. The authorities have issued'a'statement showing that the former editor of the newspaper, the ''Gaelic American," directed an attempted shipment of German supplies to the Sinn Feiners prior to Casoment's arrest. Tho Secret Service agents seized a letter and advised tho British, who thereby were able to capture the ship when bound for Ireland. The authorities have also published a Gorman letter which was circulated in the Spanish Army urging a closor relationship between the Spanish and German armies, and endeavouring to prevent Spanish merchants from supplynig the American forces in Franco.— Ah>tN.Z.
