A dispatch received m Berlin from Petrograd states that General Brugovitch has been appointed dictator of Russia and also commander of the armies, with orders to fight to the'last.—Reuter. A German ofhcial report, states:—"We have occupied Pernau, where an Esth'onian battalion placed itself, under tho German command. We occupied Dor jat and. took 3000 prisoners an 3 hundreds of automobiles. We have readied Jitomir. Our flying detachment, which occupied Dorjat, covered over a hundred and thirty miles.in five and a half days. The whole of the staff, of the Russian Special Army at Rovno fell into our hands. The com-mander-in-chief .had fled. We have established contact with the, Ukrainian troops at Cable Assn. ; REVAL OCCUPIED (Rec. February 26, 11 p.m.) London, February 25. February 27, 0.25 a.m.) Amsterdam, February 26. It is announced in Berlin that troublous events in Poland have led to the proclamation of martial law at Czeitchowa, Lodz, and Wloclawek.—Aus.I\.'A. Cable Assn. A BOLSHEVIK SUCCESS. (Reo. February 26, 7.40 p.m.) Petrograd, February 25. The Bolsheviki have captured Bostoff, after street fighting. When 'the Germans entered Wolniar the Red Guards resisted, and then fled, and were mercilessly shot down. Tho latest news from Finland shows that tho White Guards are winning everywhere. The Red Guards are quarrelling, brawling, and disuniting. The Red Guards, massacred five thousand of the White Guards who had taken refuge in the Pellinger Islands. They were mostly students.—"The Times."
RENEWAL OF GERMAN ARMISTICE REQUESTED ATTEMPT TO ASSASSINATE KRYLENKO. (Reo. February 26, 7.40 p.m.) Petrograd, February 25. The Bolshevik Commander, General Krylenko, has telegraphed to the German General Staff, requesting a renewal of the armistice, in view of Russia's acceptance of the peace terms.—Reuter. (Rec.
