LOYAL IRISH-AMERICANS

WARNING TO IRISH IN IRELAND,

The Irish Fellowship' Club, the largest Irish organisation in Chicago recently adopted a declaration which will bo submitted to all the Irish organisations, throughout the country. The declaration says:—

'.'We are compelled to regard any Irishman who at this time tries to embarrass the conduct of the war by any of the European Powers as trying to embarrass the United States. AVe must tell bur Irish brethren at home that they cannot look to America or IrishAmerica for any sympathy in any such policy. On the contrary, wo rogard any such policy as an net of open hostility to the United States and to us as Americans. There is not a single honest and genuine Irish-American who does not stand behind the President and the uolicy of the American Government. The Irish people have now to choose between enmity and friendship towards the United States,' and loyal as wo have been to the cause of Irish liberty we must tell tho Irish people that wo will not and cannot retain sympathy for an. Ireland that makes war on our beloved country and her sons."
