BRANDON or What? LUKE OAN'T WIN!- HE SHOULD BE WITHDKAWN. CI BRANDON is winning now, but if the National Government's prestige is to be maintained, his victory, must be clear and decisive. An overwhelming majority is wanted. Q BRANDON — a life-long supporter of Reform and Resident of Wellington North has claims on the Electorate while Mr. Luke has none. The National Government's prestige is seriously endangered by Mr, Luke being forced upon the Electors. THIS becomes more evident as Election Day draws nearer. BUT a sweeping victory for the "Win-the-War" Party can still be ensured by the withdrawal of Mr. Luke. d. REFORM in Wellington North is being rent asunder by tlr. Massey's ill-judged selection and the scurrilous campaign methods of the friends of his nominee. .CL REFORM should stand for freedom, and the majority of Reformers in Wellington North object to dictation as to who shall represent them. G. THEREFORE Mr. Brandon is already assured of a majority and every vote 'cast for him adds to the Prestige of the National Government in its Policy of " Win the War." ' C, REMEMBER that Mr. Luke's appearance in this Election is solely because he is the docile nominee of a Political Machine in the making. <£ Since his entry into the Political arena Mr. Luke has been everything by turn and nothing long. C Liberal! Independent! Reformer! The reject of Suburbs'and Wellington South, once again attempting to enter Parliament in the hope that the memory of the people is short and that public attraction is more centred upon the distractions of the War than upon the qualifications of Political Candidates. BRANDON stands as a free and independent supporter of the National Government. . ois more loyal to help by outspoken criticism than to blindly follow the lead of a Political Machine. CHe stands for the full. prosecution of New Zealand's part in the war, and will support all rational measures for the equal distribution of the National sacrifice, and the proper, protection of our Soldiers and their dependents. 'Mr.- BRANDON Stands for REFORM versus INTRIGUE CONSISTENCY versus INTOLERANCE TRUE REPRE-, [ WEATHERCOCK SENTATION } versus I POLITICS THE PEOPLE versus A POLITICAL MACHINE Vote for BRANDON " ' , The Free Candida!®* REMEMBERWhen you Vote for BRANDONS you Vote for a Supporter of the National Government, but at the same time you indicate to the Political Leaders that their Administration is on trial and that you, as free and independent electors, will not submit to dictation as to who shall represent you in Parliament VOTE FOR BRANDON
