WHEAT DEAL WITH THE ARGENTINE
2J MILLION TONS OF GRAIN. (Rec. February 22, 8.20 p.m.) Buenos Aires, February 21. : Details of the convention concluded between the Argentine and the 'Allied Governments show" that the latter will purchase the former's surplus wheat and other cereals to the extent of two and a half million tons, to be .exported by November 1 next. The minimum price of the wheat will bo 12| dollars per hundred kilos. The Argentine Government will, open a' credit of one hundred million dollars each to the British and f French' Governments for 1 the above purpose.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
