i The united butchers' annual picnic was held on Wednesday at Day's Bay. The following are the results of the sports:—Young ladies (over 16 years): Miss A. Ballnntyiie, 1; Miss R. Ballantyne, 2; Miss Oilman, 3. Girls (under 16): Miss Borland, 1; Miss Holbroke, 2; Miss Ruby Butchers, 3. Shopmen's race: Tuuley, 1; James, 2; Parsons, 3. Boys' race: J. M'Kcnzie, 1; A.
