THE FEUDING ASSAULT MYSTERY

« TWO ARB.-STS MADE.. Advice has been received by the Inspector of Polico that Robert M'Keo, labourer, and Michael Roughan, butcher, were arrested in Fcilding under the Crimes Act on a charge of assaulting the Rev. Mr. Stockwill and the Rev. Mr. Miller at Feilding on February 15 after a meeting of tho Protestant Political Association. The samo two men 'are also charged, with James Egan, butcher, and S. M'Greal, butcher, with disturbing a meeting. The accused were brought before the Court and were remanded, to February 27. M'Kee and Rounban were allowed bail in the sum of £60 each.
