The Arbitration Court heard a dispute in the soft goods trado, together with a demand by packers for improved conditions of employment. Mr. Justice Stringer said j that a very important principle was involved in each case. A small body of the employees sought to compsl the settlement of a dispute between workers and employers, while the bulk of the employees expressed themselves satisfied with the existing conditions.
