FIGHTING MEN NOT TO BE LEFT IN THE LURCH. "Do you know what will bo said if the National, Government does not win this election?" asked Mr. J. P. Luke at his meeting last evening. "No," said a loud voice. "You are a man of intelligence," said Mr. Luke, "and I know you! If the Government loses this election it will bo- said that New Zealand was giving the same answer as Australia gave the other day. It is our duty to continue the groat struggle until final victory is achieved. (Applause.) I say that this election is not between individuals; it is between the force whirl) favours continuing the struggle against all odds, and those who do not wish to comply with the conditions of military service. If you do not endorse the (Military) Bill you are leaving the men in tho lurch." (Applause.)
