February 27: Newtown-Otaki, Wellington-Victoria, Ea~stbounie-Thoni(lon, Te Hiwi or Kelburn plays Island Bay, Hataitai or Seatoun plays Petone, Upper llhiitLyal.l Bay, Joknsonville-Khandalla!), Lower Hutt-Karori. Pairs, on the following Tuesday.—On Thorndon green: Te Hiwi-Eastbaurne, Kelburn-Jolinsonville. On Wednesday: Jo'nnsonville or 'Kelburn plays Island Bay, Wellington-Lower Hutt, PeAoneKarori, Vktoria-Thoriidon, SoatounOtaki, East or Te Hiwi-KhandaGlah, Hataitai-Lyall .Bay, Newtown-Tj'pper Hutt.
Rinks, on the following Tuesday.— Lyall Bay-Petoue, Otaki-Wellington. On Wednesday: Johnsonvilla-Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt plays Petone or Lyall Bay, Otaki or Wellington plays KJiandallali, Victoria-Kelburn, Tfiorn-don-Island Bay, Bastbourne-Te Hiwl, Newtown-Karori, Scatoun-Hataitai.
Permission was granted tho Victoria and Petono Clubs to postpone their pennant round to March 9. Newtown and Hataitai were given permission to play a combined tourney on St. Patrick's Day, and the meeting decided to recommend that a private pairs tourney be held at Easter under the jurisdiction of the centre. WELLINGTON CLUB SINGLES. Last year's Dominion champion single player, Ingraiii, suffered defeat in the Wellington Cllub singles iast, evening by Tamblyii, who won the match by four points. The others left in this competition five James, Sievwright, and 11. J. Smith.
