BOMB PLOT DISCOVERED
TEUTONIC SPY SCHEME UNEARTHED. Berne, February 17. A lnnjge quantity of bombs and grenades and a million copies of a manifesto were found in a cellar in Zurich. The premises had been occupied by Gino Andreii, an Italian, who was incarcerated several months ago as a spy. The bombs and manifesto were intended for distribution among the workers in Italy to rouse a revolution. The manifesto accuses Britain of causing and continuing title war. Andrei was tne leader of a powerful gang of spies organised by tho Central Powers. Hβ was well supplied with money. Tho discovery has led to tho arrest of many of Andrei's confederates. One, Donati, was recontly .arrested in Italy and 6liot.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.-Router. TEE ENEMY'S LOST COLONIES CANNOT BE RETURNED. London, February 17. Lord Lcyorhulme, in iv speech in London, said: "Wo could not return a single ono of Germany's colonies, because such action would sow seeds of disruption of the Empire.
