Nominations for'"the vacant seat of Wellington North closed at noon yesterday. All the candidates who liave announced themselves as ..andidates have duly nominated. Following arc the candidates and. their nominators:— Alfred do Bathe Brandon. Nominated by Ernest Frederic Hadfield, Emma Miles. Patrick Francis M'Evedy, Alice Wilberfoss, Robert Ernest Sinclair. Henry Edmund Holland. Nominated by Andrew Parlane, Sarah Ellen Oliver Snow, George Ward, Catherine Whiteford. John Pearce Luke. Nominated by Jessie. Matilda Moorhouse, Sara Darling, William Malo de Rune Barclay, William Isaac Clark, Earry Ferdinand Upham. Angus James Neville Poison. Nominated by James David Martin M'lntyre, Cecil Vernon Augustus Coulter. • There is going to be a record supplementary roll for this election. The main roll- contains about 6500 names, but there have been many deletions. Probably the last roll number will be about 12,000, but as there have been about 1800 deletions,'the total number of electors entitled to vote will bo something like 10,000. At last election the roll for Wellington North was rather less than this. The supplement tary roll will contain about ball of the total number of names. There have been some 4000 new enrolments, and all except 500 of them have been added in the past few weeks. This total of 500 includes nil the additions to the roll since tbe election in 1914.
