SUNDAY SCHOOL UNION
Tho annual meeting of the Sunday School Union was held in the manager's room of St. John's Church on Saturday evening. The president, Mr. Alex. Johnston, was in the chair, and there was a good attendance of delegates. 'The secretary's report was read and adopted, although the report was incomplete. It was reported that nearly all the schools had responded to the request to increase this year's subscription. The sub-committee appointed to prepare a propramme for the Easter Convention at Blenheim reported that good progress was being made. It" was decided to hold an examination this year on the Australasian course as well as on the Amei International course. The officers for 1818 are as fo'low: —President, Mr. A. Hoby; vicp-nresideiits, Pev. B. F. Potliwell, Blenheim, and -Mr. C. H. Barratt; secretary. Mr. H. J. Thompson;- treasurer, Mr. W. G. IToldsworth; auditor.' Mr. E. Tait; secretary of 1.8. E.A., Mr. 0. Sims; visitors, Mr. A. Johnston, and cue to be appointed.
