Parata, the National Government's candidate for the Southern Maori seat, lias returned from a visit to Sprinf Creek and Kaikoura, where he was well received and promised strong support. He was assured that it was not necessary for him to visit 'the Croixelles. Nelson, or the west Coast. The chief Maoris at Aralnira have sent a telegram to Mr. Parata that he will get solid support there.
