After deducting depreciation and allowing for excess profits duty, the accounts of J. and P.' Coats, Ltd., for the year ended Juno 30 last show a net profit of £3.360,950. After providing for dividends already paid, tho directors are placing £2,000,000 to a War Contingencies Fund and carrying forward £155.334. Twelve months ago the profit was £3,387,395, and after meeting dividends £100.000 was allocated as suspense against depreciation. £2.456,492 going forward.— "Draper's liecord." MINING NEWS .
