Messrs. 'Dalgety and Company, Limited, Palmerston North, report having a, fair entry of sheep and a email yarding of cattle at their Marton sale on Monday. There was very fair competition and practically all lines changed hands. Quota-tions-.-Sheep: Cull lambs, 9s. 3d. to 10s.; small lambs, 13b., 13s. lid., to 14s. 6[1.; rape lambs, to 17s. Sd.; mixed blackface 2tooths, 265. 10d.; 2-tooth wethers, 265. to 275. 6d.; cull ewes, 10s.; mixed age ewes, 245. 6d.; fat ewes, 28s. 2d. The Wairarapa Farmers' Co-operative -Association, Ltd,, Stock Department, report on their Pahiatua sale, held in the farmers' Yards on Tuesday, as follows:—A heavy yarding of sheep came forward, and as no outside buyers were present, prices throughout were slightly easier, and a fair number of pons of 2-tooths and aged ewes were passed in unsold. A nice line of 220 4 and 5-year Lincoln ewes topped the market for this class of sheep at 31s. 1(1., a line of about 300 2 and 4tooth (principally 4-tooth) wethers also realised top prico in wethers at 31b. 6d. A'few penß of cattle met with a dull sale.
