MEASLES IN CAMP
OUTBREAK PRACTICALLY AT AN END. Only seven fresh cases of measles have been reported in the military camps during the la.st seven days, and tho outbreak is regarded as practically at an end. Between 500 and 600 contacts are still held in isolation at Trenthain and Fcatherston, but they are being discharged back to duty quickly. Tho outbreak, which was due to infection brouglit to the camps by men returning from Christmas leave, has interfered with training slightly, but tho prompt measures taken to check the spread of the trouble prevented the opidemic assuming the proportions of other years.
