REVOLUTION GERMINATING IN SWITZERLAND
(Rec. February 12, 11.50 p.m.) Berne, February 11. The Swiss Socialists, in conjunction with the Zurich Workmen's Union, are planning a revolution lon Bolshevik lines. They have demanded that the Government shall withdraw its compulsory civilian service system, demobi use the Army before May 1, and abolish the Federal Council's war powers, otherwise a. general strike will be ordered.—United Service. The Press Bureau states: "The Government lias authorised the Zionist Commission to proceed to Palestine . with- a view to repatriating Jews whom the enemy compelled to leave, organising relief work, and reopening, .the institutions and restoring the damage. -Aus.-N.Z.
