PRODUCTS ACCUMULATING. . Tho shipping available for the commerce of this country lias been rather hotter than was generally expected (luring the past two months, and indications are that the supply of ships will continue to be satisfactory for.afe least a month longer. There are six Bteamcrs now loading for Britain, and seven more are due to arrive beforo the' end of February.
The difficulty'now is that there is art accumulation of products which are not 'to urgently required ns meat and wool.' mid cheese by the Imperial authorities. These include tallow, frozen rabbits, butter, and shortly thero will bo apples. It is hoped' that it wilt be possible to export some of theapples, of which there will bo a big: Biirplus this year, to England. Them aro '10,000 boxes of butter in store in the country now. Some of this will l"> getting away soon. All of it has been taken by the British Government, and in viow of tho difficulty of getting it out of the country the price of 1575. paid for it must now be considered to have been satisfactory.
