FURNITURE TRADE WORKERS
A WAR BONUS GRANTED. The- Conciliation Council yesterday continued its bearing of tlio 'furniture trade dispute. The Conciliation Commissioner, Mr. AV. Newton, presided. After a lengthy sitting the parties leached an agreement on the basis -.:f the old scale of wages plus a. 10 per cent, war bonus. No changes were made in tbo conditions of work.
