MR. COLEMAN PHILLIPS AND OUR MILK SUPPLY
' Sir,—l was so much impressed with the practical common sense contained in Mr. Coleman Phillips's letter in your columns of January 31, 1918, that I have placed it in my scrap book, as an objeot lesson to our City Fathers as to how tilings ought to be done. Cannot he he.persuaded to stand for the approaching election for Wellington North, as it is evident that wfe shall havo to thank him directly for the suggestion to brimj the Orongo Orongo water as an additional water supply to the city. He evidently has taken a keen interest in the health of the city mu its two greatest requirements, and such intrinsic good work should not pass unrecognised by the citizens. Here is a man worthy of your support, who took part in the Maori War, and is capable in every way to 'advocate the interests of the electors in Parliament, being a far-seeing and practical man. If elected he would prove himself worthy of your confidence.—l am, etc., SEARCHLIGHT. AVellirigton, February 7, 1918. .
