Hundreds of officers and thoiißands of men have testified to the excellent services rendered to soldiers by the Y,M.C. A grat amount of money is required to maintain the widespread work of the Y.M.C.A., and for this purpose of raising £1 per soldier for a year, a Red Triangle Day campaign for funds is being organised. In connection with this His Worship the Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke) has convened a meeting of business men for 4 p.m. to-day in the Concert Chamber,when he hopes to see a strong committee of representatives citizens set up to carry out the effort in Wellington and district. Among the sneakers at this meeting will be Brigadier-General Sir Robert Anderson, of Svdnev, and Mr. Ohas. Rhodes, and Mr. Geo. H. Wilson, of Auckland. ■' ■ ' .ii ' 11
