' ' After Councillor _ Mulvanah had moved that the police be *-ent for as Councillor M'Carthy refused to vacate his seat, the policeman was sent for, and Councillor M'Carthy dared tho constable to vemnrp him. The (onstable, however, assisted Councillor M'Carthy from his chair. Tho fatter took the constable's number and threatened proceedings against both the constable, and the council, lie then left tho room, and the meeting terminated shortly after.
