THE WAR CABINET MEETING
NO DATE YET FIXED (Kec. February 6, 8.55 p.m.) Loncion, February 5. Router's correspondent learns that in accordance with a general wish expressed last year, and as the convenience of the Dominion statesmen and their Parliaments permit, a series of Imperial War Cabinets and Imperial War Conferences will ho held in London this year—in continuation of those of last y&r—at 'which the representatives of the Dominions will attend to confer with tha British Ministers regarding problems of war. It is understood that the Imperial Government is trying to arrange a, date as far as possible to suit the'convenience of all, but nothing definite has yet been settled, either regarding the date- or the statesmen who may attend. . A Router telegram from Wellington (N.Z.) to-day gives the first official intimation that, subject to the approval of the Dominion Parliament, Mr. Massey and Sir Joseph Ward will represent New Zealand.—lleuter. [The following statement on the subject by Mr. Massey (the Prime Minister) appeared in The Dominion on Tuesday: "New Zoaland is to bo represented at the meeting of the War Cabinet, and the representatives of New Zealand will be thp Prime Minister and Sir Joseph Ward, their selection to bo subject to the approval of Parliament. A short session of Parliament will bo hold prior to their departure for England, and it is suggested that this session will open on or about Tuesday, April 9, to'.maker the r.ecessary arrangements to enable the New Zealand representatives to go to Britain." The conference, it was added, is to bo held in June, but this date is only an approximation, and is not based on definite information.]
