MUSICIANS' UNION
The yearly meeting of the Musicians' Union was presided over by the vicepresident (Mr. Andrew Williams). The election of officers for 1918 resulted:— President. Mr. A. Williams; vice-presi-dent Mr." T. G. Joy; secretary, Mr. J. F. Woodward (re-elected); treasurer, Mr. A. Crump; committee, Messrs. T. Lawrence, F. Crowther, 15. Elliott, 11. 'Tutschka. and A. Taylor; trustees, Messrs. J. Garry awl A. Stephenson; auditors, Messrs. A. M'Donald and F. Wolfgang. The balanee-slieet showed a surplus. Tho exccutne meetings of tho union will ho hold in fut.ure on the first Wednesday of the month. A "drum fund" subscription list was circulated at the meeting for Mr. A. Jacobs, Into drummer of Fullers', who lost all his instruments in the recent Ohristchurch firo.
