BIG WHEAT PURCHASE
AUSTRALIA'S 1916-17 WHEAT CROP SOLD TO BRITAIN. (Rcc. February 5, 1.35 a.m.) Sydney, February 4. The British Wheat Commission has decided to take tho 1916-17 wheat crop, representing three million tons, for which it is understood the Imperial authorities are' providing ample shipping space to permit of transportation bv the end of the .year. The Commission may also purchaso the 1917-18 crop.—Press Assn.
