ARMED BOARDING VESSEL TORPEDOED
HEAVY LOSS OF LIFE. (Rec. February 3-4, midnight.) London, February 2. The Admiralty reports that the armed boarding steamer Louyain was torpedoed and sunk in the Eastern Mediterranean on January 21. Seven officers and 217 men were lost.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.-llcutor.
