VITAL CONSULTATIONS WITH OVERSEAS MINISTERS IMPORTANT TOPICS TO BE REVIVED EARLY MEETINGS ANNOUNCED (Rec. February 3, 5.5 p.m.) London, February 1. Though plans are not yet made, most important conferences' between, the British and tie overseas Dominion Ministers are certain to be held very shortly. Tho War Cabinet regards these consultations as vital and imjrerative. Mr. Long has been charged to ascertain the Dominion views upon the subjects on which personal interviews are essential. These cover the whole gamut of ihe war activities. The negotiations will include reinforcements, repatriation, finance, and afterwar trade. Sir Robert Borden and General Botha are coming.—United Service. [The following statement regarding the meeting of the Imperial War Cabinet and the Imperial Conference, was made by the Primq .Minister last week: "From information that has reached tho Government we have reason to believe that the War Cabinet and Conference will meet somewhat later this year than it did last year. This, of course, may require very important alterations in the arrangements to bo made in this Dominion." A special meeting of' Cabinet will be held in the near future to decide who is to repreeent New Zealand.]
