MASTERTON SHOW
Prospective exhibitors at the Master, ton Show on February 19 and 20 are reminded that entries will close on Monday, February 4, at 9 p.m. Late entries will be received up till Saturday, February 9, 011 the payment of Is. extra per entry. Very liberal prizes and a largo number of trophies have been allotted to the various sections of the show. For instance, in the Romhey Marsh section there is the G. C. Wheeler Memorial Shield, ivhich carries with it the New Zealand 'championship, the Perry Salver, and the t/<>hnston Rose Bowl, besides several gold medals. In Southdowns tliero will ho keen competition for the Glenside Cup. The trophies awarded to the Shorthorn, Friesian, Hereford, and fat cattle classes are expected to draw large entries. The competitions will be a feature of the show this year. A l.ew trophy—the Vallance Rose Bowl—to be awarded to the champion jump, will be competed for. Entries for ti'e i?m and ewe fair, to be held 011 February 21 and 22, will close on Monday, February 4, at 2 p.m.
