GOOD PRICES' SECURED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Hastings, February 1. There was an increased number of buyers at the second day of the Hawke's Bay ram fair, and rates averaged higher than at last year's sales. The whole of tho offerings to-day were Romneys, and sellers went home well satisfied, although 110 sensational prices were realised. The ton price, 30 guineas, went to a pen sold 011 behalf of AV. "Ravnor, Masterton. Quinton Donald's (Featherston) 23 Romneys at 24 guineas'each came next, and Percy Brothers (Masterton) disposed of fivo shearlings at 23i guineas. _ Eglinton's large yarding found ready disposal from 12 guineas to 20 guineas. Buyers were present from all parts of the Dominion.
