An impressive ceremony took place last week at the Convent of Mercy, Greymouth, when Miss B. Carew (in religion) Sister Mary Patricia) made her proifession as a Sister of Mercy. The Very Rev. Dean Carew, of Westland (uncle of the newly-professed Sister of Mercy) officiated at the ceremony, assisted at the altar by the Rev. Father Schaefer, S.M.
