WANTED A MAGISTRATE
THE PLIGHT OF WANGANUI. By Telegraph—Press Association. Y/anganui, January 31. At the Police Court to-day, Mr. Cohen, on behalf of the legal profesprotested against the delay in hearing oases owing to no Magistrate being available. Jb is about six weeks since a Magistrate sat here, and there is a great accumulation of cases, fomo seventy awaiting hearing. The need for a Eesident Magistrate was strongly urged.
