At the conference of the Protestant Political Association yesterday the following resolution was passed: —"That this conference of Dominion representatives of the Protestant Political Association desires to gratefully express its recognition of the action of the Grand Lodge of the Loyal Orange Institution in the initiation of the association, and the wi«o guidance and general financial support accorded the movement in its formative stages, and wishes specially to place on record its sense of indebtedness to the Policy Committee of tho Grand Orange Lodge, the R.W.G.M. (Rev. R. J. Siddcll), the National Lecturer (Rev. H. Elliott), and the chairman of the Policy Committee (Mr. H. Donald), and to all members of the Loyal Orange Institution who in any way have contributed to the success of the association, and that a copy of this resolution be sent to the Grand Lodge of New Zealand."
