WADESTOWN COTTAGE GARDEN SOCIETY
There was a fine show of cut flowers at the monthly meeting of the AVadestown Cottage Garden Society, held.on Tuesday night. Koses, as usual, were conspicuous for their beauty, but-tor the first time since the institution ot the society they were deposed from pride of place, the first prize going by a 'large majority of votes, to Mr. A. Siratt, for a grand display of scabious, pentstemons, sweet peas, and other o-arden favourites, many of large size and rare colour. . The prizes gained at the spring show were handed to tne winners:--Mr J.'G. Cook took Mr E. A Nicoll's trophy for cut flowers, Mr. 1?
