• An enthusiastic meeting of tho New /Zealand .Natives! Association was held past evening; Mr. George Gapes (chairunanj presiding, when the question [of the Easter egg surprise packet [scheme, to provide funds for a memorial hall, was dealt with.. It was decided to appoint Mr. Charles M'lntyre or[gauiser of 'tta scheme. It was also (decided to write to the Wellington •Ladies' Hockey Association to arrange a representative match for Easter Monday. The question of collecting was fully gone into, and it was resolved to (have official cards with the secretary's ( name printed on the front, which cards ; would give the bearer permission to icollect goods .for the scheme. The following were appointed the advertising [committee: Messrs. G. Tapes, H. E. long, C. M'lntyre,'S. Boock, and J. [C.Cusack. It was also decided to appoint a committee of twelve to wait [on the business people of Wellington.
