Q AT £70 PER TON. By Telograph—Press Association. Auckland, January 30. As a result of representations to tho British Minister of Munitions by the Eon. A. M. Myers, 497 tons of iheetiron, consisting of 347 tons corrugated and 150 tons of plain iron, have been released for use in New Zealand. The iron is due to arrive shortly. It will' be proportionately taken into storo at the four chief centres, and distributed for essential purposes. The price is fixed at £70 pex ton.
