The ladies' branch of tho Royal Life Saving Society held a 50 yards handicap race last evening, with the following result:—First heat: Miss J. Aitken, 6sec., 1; Miss N. Bacon, lOsec, 2; Miss Ena Radford, 13sec.„ and N. Edhiondson, Usee, dead heat, 3. Also started: Miss Hayv'ice, Bsec. Second heat: Miss E. Buckmaster, scr., 1; Miss M. Alter., 3seo., 2; Miss R. Rigg, osec, .3. Also started: Misses B. Ayling, osec.; G. Willtio, 6sec. Final: M. Allan, 1; It. Rigg, 2; J. Aitken, 3., Miss D. Donelly acted as judge.
