Wairaropa Farmers' Co.opcrat.i7o Association, Ltd., Stock Department, Pahiotua, report on their supplementary catt'ii fair, held, in their Mangahao yards on Monday, as follows:—A good yarding ot cattle' camo forward, well up to advertised numbers, and taken all through tho yarding waß of very fair Duality. Prices for grown cattle were not as good as at our November fair; in fact, prices for all classes of cattle we consider were in favour of the buyer. Considering the amount of rain wo have experienced during the past month, and the -wonderful growth of grass prevailing in almost every district, it is hard to account for tho poor demand, for cattle. However, the bulk of the vendors met the market, and out, of • our yarding of 1300 heal we sold 600. A nico line of 22 fat and forward bullocks realised £18, pen of nice-conditioned 25-year steers, ex Styles Bros., TVaikercru, realised £14 153.; a lino of 31 Horoford cows with llereford calves at foot, cows empty, realised £15 175.; 19 do.. £14 165.; 31 do., £14 10b.; 42 do. (poor), £12; 29 3-year steers, £13; 18 3 and 4-vear steers, £14 7s. 6d.; 26 3-year •steers (medium), £11 17b. ,H.; 8 do., £13; 6 do., £15 10s.; 10 do.. £14 15s.'; 18 do., £14 10s.; 8 fat cows, £13.
