Association -tion -will hold, its twelfth annual show ■on the racecourse, Levin, to-day, and v judging from* the support given by the • district, and outside competitors nro'mises to be a most successful one. The "total number of entries received ex- ■ " ceeds those of any previous year, these "heing as follow: Horses and competi- '. tions, 210; cattle, 195 ] sheep, 145; and '.', pigs, 38, making a total of 590. The quality of the purebred cattle is expected to be better than anything yet ■ exhibited at Levin. The sheep and pig ■classes,, it is said, will be quite equal ;to previous years. The usual weight- • guessing competitions in dressed weight ;of bullock and sheep will be open to all ■who think they are a judge.
